Background


Crosby Gilbert and Sullivan Society was formed in April 1951 in Crosby, Liverpool, with their first production at The Winter Garden Theatre, Waterloo in December 1951 of ‘The Mikado’.


It has performed G&S productions at different venues across Liverpool.


The Winter Gardens Theatre, Waterloo, 1951 to 1963

The Crane Theatre, Liverpool, 1964 to 1967

The Neptune Theatre, Liverpool, 1968 to 1987, 1989 to 2005

Crosby Civic Hall, Waterloo, 1988, 2006 to 2012

The Epstein Theatre, Liverpool, 2013 to 2016

Southport Little Theatre, 2017 to the present day
